There are two key elements when it comes to starting a business. The first is what you need to do. The second is who you need to be.
The do-ing
These are the practical parts of starting and developing the business. They include business planning, formulating creative marketing techniques, getting clear on who your customer is and building the right network around you.
The be-ing
Developing your mindset to think and behaviour like a business owner is essential to success. Exploring your relationship with risk and uncertainty, building confidence, resilience and influencing are all leadership skills that can be developed to ensure that you are the best you can possibly be.
You will:
- Gain clarity on your goals and how to achieve them
- Identify your strengths and areas you can improve on to achieve your goals
- Build your confidence
- Feel able to embrace change and new challenges
- Receive support when the going gets tough
